Sharara Company is the official sponsor of Lamset Najat campaign
 

In the frame of the continuous support provided by the company for the different social events and activities, and in its belief of health and social campaigns carried out by civil society organizations for the betterment of different social values. The company has lately sponsored the campaign of "Lamset Najat" as a golden sponsor, the campaign is organized by the Libyan Association for medical students and young doctors – branch of Tripoli under the slogan :” your hands touches are your Salvation key”

Objectives of “Lamset Najat” campaign

The campaign aims at the definition of breast cancer which is considered the most lethal tumors in women, the early detection of the disease may save the patient’s life and limit the spread of the disease and the rest of the complications. In case of early detection the disease can be cured by 95% in some statistics. Therefore, all the specialized scientific centers have agreed that the best way to cure this cancer is by the monthly self-examination.

The program seeks to educate a particular age group in the community to realize the importance of monthly self-examination, also encourages the soul of volunteering among young people to contribute in building Libya.

This campaign also aims at increasing health and social awareness in the Libyan community in general, that will be through working on knowing the rate of infection by this disease, and make scientific statistics on the patients who suffer from breast cancer. These statistics will help to know the number of patients and mortality.

Scientific researches will be carried out about the disease, also providing the sufficient and supported medicines and cures after inventory of the infected and projected cases.

This campaign has began on Monday 1st October 2012 until December; it aims to make women aware of self-examination for early detection of breast cancer for adult women over the age of 35.
